Description
The Vacuubrand PC 510 NT is a vacuum pumping system designed for medium-scale laboratory applications involving common solvents. Central to this unit is the reliable MZ 2C NT two-stage chemistry diaphragm pump, known for its chemical resistance and consistent performance. The Vacuubrand PC 510 NT is particularly suited for processes requiring stable vacuum levels, such as rotary evaporation, filtration, and distillation.
Integrated with the CVC 3000 vacuum controller, the system offers precise electronic vacuum regulation via a solenoid valve. The controller features text-based menus and an integrated venting valve, simplifying control over sensitive procedures. The pump maintains optimised vacuum levels even when operating with gas ballast. Achieving pressures down to 5 torr (without gas ballast) and 9 torr (with gas ballast).
This unit includes a compact and highly efficient exhaust vapour condenser, for near-complete solvent recovery. Furthermore, it supports environmental sustainability and contributes to cost-effective solvent reuse. The Vacuubrand PC 510 NT has a pumping speed of 1.2/1.4 CFM, motor speeds ranging from 1500 to 1800 rpm, and a chemically resistant fluoroplastic casing.
Operating quietly and with minimal vibration, it is well-suited for shared lab environments. Electrical requirements are 230 V, 50/60 Hz, 0.18 kW, and the maximum operating temperature is 40°C.
