Description
The Sanyo MIR-553 Cooled Incubator offers a 406-litre chamber capacity and a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C. Combining heating and refrigeration, it supports laboratory applications requiring controlled temperatures above or below ambient. Microprocessor temperature control and forced air circulation help maintain consistent conditions throughout the chamber. Meanwhile, the digital display allows users to monitor the internal temperature and adjust settings easily.
For experiments requiring changing conditions, the controller offers three-step temperature programming with repeat cycles. Users can set each step from 0.5 to 99.5 hours, supporting extended incubation and temperature cycling procedures. A stainless-steel interior provides a durable, easy-to-clean workspace, while adjustable shelving accommodates different sample sizes. The generous observation window allows users to inspect samples without opening the door, helping minimise temperature disturbance. In addition, a window cover shields the chamber from external light when required. For safety, audible and visual temperature alarms alert users to deviations, while independent high and low temperature protection provides additional safeguards.
