The Peak Scientific Precision Nitrogen 250cc Generator supplies high-purity nitrogen for gas chromatography and sample preparation applications. Delivering up to 250 cc/min, it offers a maximum purity of 99.9995% and an output pressure up to 80 psi (5.5 bar). It is suitable for GC detector make-up gas, alongside compatible purge and trap, thermal desorption and sample preparation workflows. By generating nitrogen on demand, the unit reduces reliance on gas cylinders and helps prevent interruptions caused by depleted supplies. It also reduces the need for cylinder changes, limiting opportunities for contaminants to enter the gas supply.
With its compact, stackable design, the Precision Nitrogen 250 integrates with other generators in Peak Scientific’s Precision range. This modular arrangement helps laboratories make effective use of available bench space. The unit requires an external supply of suitably clean compressed air at 100–120 psi (6.9–8.3 bar). Laboratories can connect it to an appropriate existing air supply or a separate compatible compressor. Requiring little maintenance, the Precision Nitrogen 250 simply needs an annual filter change.
