Description
The 4x-115x Forensic Bullet Comparison Microscope consists of two separate microscopes and stages, two light source types for the left and right microscope on adjustable mounts, and a comparison bridge allowing the user to choose from three different views – full image of either the left or right side, or side by side comparison. Forensic scientists utilise trinocular comparison microscopes to analyse specimens side-by-side, like bullet shell casings or toolmarks.
Features of the microscope include a large range of low power magnifications from 4x to 115x, two fully rotatable mechanical X-Y-Z movable stages and polarised light capability. No objectives are included with this system but can be easily added.
