The Turbo Vap 96 Dual Well Plate Evaporator is a laboratory instrument designed to remove solvents from well microplates, tubes or vials. It uses needles to blow heated gas directly into each well for accelerated drying. This makes it an essential tool for industries involved in sample preparation, environmental testing, and food and beverage analysis.
The Turbo Vap 96 operates with a gas heater temperature range of 0–65°C and a plate heater range of 0–80°C. In addition to gas evaporation, the system applies heat from below, keeping the unit warm between runs. This approach improves consistency while reducing gas consumption. Users can control each side of the instrument independently, effectively doubling throughput.
The system includes a built-in gas exhaust, enabling safe operation both inside and outside a fume hood. For added convenience, Smart Door Technology automatically pauses the process when the door opens and resumes operation once it closes, allowing users to make quick adjustments. A user-friendly seven-inch touchscreen interface simplifies operation and control.
