Description
The Thermo Versette Automated Liquid Handler is a benchtop, robotic system used to transfer, dispense and mix liquids in a laboratory setting. Designed to perform an array of liquid handling tasks, the Versette lends itself to immunoaffinity sample preparation, plate stamping and serial dilution procedures. This in turn frees up researchers to concentrate on other tasks, while reducing human error. Moreover, its compact size allows it to comfortably sit on a lab bench or inside a safety cabinet.
Specifications for the Versette include a volume range of 0.5 – 300 uL, and compatibility with both 96 and 384-well plates. A unique dual-level design allows the six-position stage to minimise its footprint. The system can perform simple pipetting procedures directly from the built-in user panel. However, for more complex programmes the Vervette will need to be paired with ControlMate software (not included).
