Description
The Thermo Trace 1310 & TSQ Duo GC-MS/MS System includes a Trace 1310 GC and a TSQ Duo MSD, complete with PC, software and desk. During testing, the GC separates the mixtures into individual chemicals and the MS then identifies and measures them. Together, these high-performance instruments create a powerful tool for separating, finding and measuring minute amounts of chemicals in liquid samples. As a result, this kind of system is commonly used for food, drug and pollution testing.
Engineered to optimise laboratory production, the Trace 1310’s fast thermal cycles and automated sampling make it ideal for labs working in large production. Specifically, its fast oven cycling supports temperature ramp rates of up to 125°C, speeding up throughput and ensuring low thermal mass. To reduce maintenance, the Trace 1310 has interchangeable injector and detector modules, that can be swapped without the need for tools. Markedly, the Trace 1310 features an integrated touchscreen, enabling the user to control the instrument directly.
The TSQ Duo can perform both single-stage mass spectrometry and tandem mass spectrometry, allowing routine lab work to be completed alongside more complex chemical analysis. Transition speeds of up to 300 SRM/s are supported due to its fast collision cell technology. And an ion source temperature system provides independently controlled heating, with a range of between 125°C to 350°C.
