Description
The Thermo Scientific MSC 1.2 Advantage Class II Safety Cabinet is a biological safety cabinet. Specifically, it is designed for use in laboratories working with hazardous biological materials or sensitive samples. As a result, the MSC 1.2 is well suited for applications in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or microbiology.
In terms of features, the MSC Advantage 1.2 includes HEPA filters for removing airborne contaminants, alongside SmartFlow technology for automated airflow control. Additionally, the Digital Airflow Verification system immediately alerts the user if either the product or operator protection is compromised. To ensure user comfort, the cabinet features a 10° sloped front, a spacious work area, and comfortable armrests. Moreover, a low noise level helps enhance concentration, while a bright work light provides maximum illumination over your samples. For convenience, the MSC Advantage 1.2 offers a large front window, making it much easier to load large equipment. Meanwhile, an integrated SmartPort helps with organising tubing and cables. Users can also easily control and view safety and performance data via the intuitive control panel. Externally the unit measures 130 x 79.8 x 152.2 cm and features a clean, white and blue powder-coated finish.
This cabinet does not include a stand; however, one can be manufactured if required.
