The Thermo Scientific Megafuge 40R is built for labs that need power and precision. This centrifuge is provided with a TX-750 swinging bucket rotor, 4 x 750ml round buckets with ClickSeal Biocontainment Lids, as well as inserts for 50ml and 15ml conical, capable of reaching speeds up to 4700 RPM with the installed rotor.
The temperature range of -10°C to +40°C keeps samples stable during high-speed runs. A refrigerated system ensures consistent cooling. The induction motor is maintenance-free, quiet, and built to last. Control is simple. The digital display and microprocessor controller let you set speed, time, temperature, and more. You can store six programs for quick access. Run times go up to 9 hours 99 minutes, with a HOLD option for flexibility.
The Auto-Lock III Rotor System allows fast, secure rotor changes with a push-button and the ClickSeal Bucket System offers certified biocontainment with one-handed, glove-friendly operation. SMARTSpin Technology optimizes acceleration, braking, and load balance for each rotor.
