The Thermo Scientific HERAcell 240i CO2 Incubator provides a stable atmosphere during incubation of biological samples, and allows precise control over humidity, temperature and co2 levels. Perfect for lab work involving biological research, cell behaviour and drug development, to name but a few.
Small enough to fit under the lab bench, the HERAcell 240i has a 240 litre capacity and a temperature range of between 3°C to 55°C. Humidity is controlled by an internal reservoir, allowing the unit to be placed anywhere in the lab, and a water level sensor indicates when the tank needs to be refilled. To maintain conditions inside the incubator, an inner glass door allows you to view your samples while keeping exposure to ambient conditions to a minimum.
An exclusive feature of the HERAcell family is the ContraCon 90°C moist heat decontamination cycle. This deep cleaning cycle effectively eliminates biological contaminants, keeping both you, and your samples safe. In addition to this the chamber has a smooth stainless steel inner casing with rounded corners, further simplifying the cleaning process. Three perforated stainless-steel shelves are included providing ample room for the storage of your samples.
