Description
The Thermo Nicolet iS5 FTIR Spectrometer delivers reliable, high-performance infrared analysis in a compact, space-saving design. Equipped with the iD7 ATR accessory, the durable diamond crystal and a slip-clutch pressure arm ensure consistent sample contact, whilst protecting the crystal and the accessory from excessive force. The FT-IR covers a broad spectral range of 7800–350 cm⁻¹, with a mid-infrared KBr beamsplitter to deliver sensitive, high-quality spectral data across a wide variety of sample types.
Designed for long-term stability and minimal maintenance, the Thermo iS5 utilises a thermally controlled diode laser with automatic alignment to maintain consistent performance. Real-time diagnostics continuously monitor system health, while an electronic humidity sensor and easily replaceable desiccant help protect the optical system from humidity damage. The Thermo Nicolet FTIR is supplied with OMNIC software, for intuitive control.
