Description
The Statebourne Cryogenics Biosystem 24 is a liquid nitrogen refrigerator, designed for the bulk storage of temperature sensitive samples. It is especially useful in labs that require frequent access to specimens, with fast and efficient storage and retrieval. A mid-range model, the Biosystem 24 can hold up to 20,350 2ml samples in vapour phase, or 24,050 2 ml samples in liquid phase.
When storing samples in the vapour phase, temperature can be set as low as -190°C. Furthermore, a copper chamber lining ensures excellent temperature uniformity throughout the system. LN2 levels can be checked using a dip stick, and it can be poured in easily and quickly in the event of an emergency. An integrated microprocessor controls the Biosystem 24, which features a comprehensive alarm system, data logging, and direct PC connectivity. The top-opening design grants quick access to your samples, while the smooth, insulated neck plug allows you to wipe it clean whenever necessary. Finally, sturdy castors let you smoothly and effortlessly roll the Biosystem 24 into position.
