Description
The Sanyo MDF-U73V ULT Freezer is a free standing, large capacity freezer, designed to store temperature sensitive samples. With operating temperatures as low as -86°C, the MDF-U73V provides laboratory-grade long term storage solutions.
A generous capacity of 728 litres is divided up by three stainless steel shelves, which are centred in the middle of the chamber to maximise temperature uniformity. To minimise air loss, the freezer is divided into two compartments, ensuring that only one half of the chamber is exposed to ambient room temperatures when opened. Furthermore, insulated internal doors and vacuum Insulation Panels (VIP) work together to enhance cold retention. Multiple built-in safety features, such as high-temperature and open-door alarms, protect valuable samples and alert the user should any setting deviations occur. Meanwhile, an easy-to-use control panel centred at the top of the door clearly displays the current temperature inside the freezer.
Finally, for ease of movement the MDF-U73V is mounted on castors, allowing it to be simply wheeled into place.
