The PuriFlash 4100 Flash-Prep LC System provides a flexible platform for flash chromatography and preparative HPLC. Users can switch between the two purification modes in under ten seconds. This versatility makes the system well suited to organic chemists, biochemists and pharmaceutical researchers handling varied compounds and workflows.
This configuration includes an integrated evaporative light-scattering detector. Unlike UV detectors, ELSD technology can detect compounds with little or no UV absorbance. It therefore supports a wider range of purification applications. Automatic gain control dynamically adjusts the signal intensity throughout each run. This helps prevent detector saturation while maintaining optimum sensitivity. Furthermore, low-temperature detection protects heat-sensitive and semi-volatile compounds. Ultra Performance Flash Purification technology also helps reduce the consumption of hazardous solvents. As a result, laboratories can lower their environmental impact while shortening subsequent evaporation times.
