Description
The Ohaus 5916R V1 Refrigerated Centrifuge operates within a speed range of 200 rpm to 16,000 rpm, and accommodates up to a maximum of 4 x 750 mL. A wide variety of rotors and inserts are available for this centrifuge, allowing multiple samples types to be run on one machine. With automatic rotor recognition, the device simplifies rotor selection and verification for users. Rotor is not included. Rotors can be ordered separately here.
The refrigeration range of the centrifuge extends from -20 °C to -40 °C, providing precise temperature control for sensitive applications. It pre-cools from room temperature to 4°C in less than 10 minutes, enhancing operational efficiency. The 5916R V1 allows users to store up to 99 program memories, making it easy to recall frequently used settings quickly. Featuring 10 acceleration gears and 10 deceleration gears, the centrifuge offers smooth and customisable speed transitions.
A motor-driven lid lock ensures secure operation, while the backlit LCD display provides clear and accessible information. The stainless steel chamber adds durability and easy cleaning, and the polycarbonate/ABS plastic lid offers robustness and safety. The continuous run time ranges from 10 seconds to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds, accommodating both short and extended centrifugation processes.
