Description
The Leica DM R Comparison Microscope System consists of two DM Rs (Type 020-525.024), two light boxes, and a DM R comparison bridge. A modular, upright, compound microscope, the DM R is research grade and designed for life science and materials research.
Features of the DM R include precise coarse and fine focusing, multi-position nose pieces and interchangeable stages. Depending on configuration, the DM R can perform multiple contrast techniques including brightfield, darkfield, and phase contrast, to name a few. This system comes with three objectives included (10x, 20x, 40x), but can support a wide range of additional ones.
The DM R comparison bridge allows the user to choose from three different views – full image of either the left or right side, or side by side comparison. This type of set up is ideal for those working in labs which need to compare and match samples, for example in forensics or criminology.
