Description
The Buchi R-300 Rotary Evaporation System Professional is a laboratory instrument used to effectively remove solvents from samples by evaporation. This complete system consists of a rotating flask in which to put your sample, a vacuum pump to lower the boiling point, a heating bath, and a recirculating chiller to ensure a consistent temperature. The R-300’s modular design allows you to customise the system to your requirements, with a central interface regulating each component. Fully automated, this system can be operated unattended and users can monitor progress via an app.
The R-300 is equipped with a 5-litre evaporation flask and offers a variable rotation speed range of 10 to 280 rpm. Its heating bath can reach a maximum temperature of 220 °C, warming up to 50 °C in just 8 minutes when filled with water, and to 180 °C in 27 minutes when using oil. Furthermore, two lift speeds provide smooth operation, moving quickly until 2 cm above the depth stop, and then slowly to it’s final depth. The system also features the I-300 Pro interface, allowing the user to program parameters of their own SOP’s and to preview the methods as graphs.
