Description
The Binder ED 260 Drying Oven is a drying and heating chamber designed for routine drying, sterilisation and material testing. Specifically engineered to minimise airflow, the ED 260 uses natural convection to prevent sample disturbance and cross-contamination. Markedly, the ED 260 uses up to 30% less energy compared to other units on the market.
Specifications of the ED 260 include an ample capacity of 255 litres and a temperature range of 5°C to 300°C. On average it takes around 50 minutes for the ED 260 to reach a temperature of 150°C. An integrated control panel with LCD display allows the user to easily set and monitor parameters. Furthermore, APT.line Technology ensures uniform temperature distribution, plus a rapid recovery time after the door has been opened. To log data, a built-in USB port facilitates recording of thermal cycles. Internally, the ED 260 has two chrome plated shelves and the chamber measures 50 x 61 x 76 cm approximately.
