Description
The Binder BD 400 Incubator is a mid-size, freestanding, standard incubator. Designed for gentle incubation and conditioning of heat-sensitive samples, the BD 400 provides a stable environment for all your heating needs.
With a temperature range of between ambient temperature +5°C to 100°C, the BD 400 is suited to a wide range of applications including sample preparation, sterilising equipment and conducting stress tests. To ensure a steady and uniform temperature, the BD 400 uses unique APT.Line technology. This works by surrounding the inner test space with an air jacket and heating the air before it enters the chamber. As the incubator uses gravity convection, there is no forced air. Therefore, making it suitable for heating or drying lightweight powders without blowing them around. For convenience, tempered inner glass doors allow the user to view samples while maintaining temperature in the chamber. Parameters are set using the manual buttons and temperature dial and are displayed on the bright LED screen.
Two chrome-plated racks are included; however the incubator can hold up to nine.
