The Agilent MS40+ Plus Pump is the pump of choice for LC/MS and ICP-MS instruments from Agilent. The MS40+ is a single-stage, oil-sealed rotary vane pump that provides a high pumping speed, with reduced dimensions. It is equipped with an integral exhaust /oil filtration system and features replaceable exhaust filter elements. The pump is suitable for high gas-throughput conditions.


  • Adjustable speed between 40 – 60 Hz
  • Steady and high gas throughput conditions at pressures below 10 Torr
  • Suitable for applications including mas spectrometry (coupled with LC, ICP, GC, etc.) and electron microscopy
  • High pumping capacity despite small footprint
  • Pumping speed up to >45 cubic metres per hour
  • Low power requirements make the pump and environmentally friendly and cost-effective option
  • Low noise level compared with alternative pumps
  • Inverter technology reduced operating power requirements, and requires a low start up current of <10 A
  • The integrated design features an anti suck-back valve for higher reliability and maintenance
