Description
The Agilent 5977B MSD / 7890B GC System with Gerstel MPS includes an Agilent 5977B Mass Selective Detector, an Agilent 7890B Gas Chromatograph, and a Gerstel Multipurpose Sampler. A PC and lab table are also supplied with this system.
A highly versatile machine, features of the Agilent 7890B GC include rapid, precise oven-temperature ramping, which can be controlled either from the instrument’s control panel or via the connected PC. An advanced electronic pneumatic control module delivers superior performance, ensuring highly consistent retention times and excellent reproducibility. In addition, Capillary Flow Technology provides a robust, leak-free platform that reduces the likelihood of operational errors.
Equally impressive, the Agilent 5977B MSD uses a High Efficiency Source (HES) to maximise ion creation and transfer to the mass analyser. Its high sensitivity detects limits as low as 1.5 fg IDL. To protect sample integrity and minimse decomposition, the 5977B employs an inert flow path. Notably, the 5977B features a self-cleaning ion souce to greatly reduce, or even eliminate the need for manual cleaning.
Included with the MSD/GC system is the Gerstel Multi-Purpose Sampler. A sample preparation robot that automates all of your sampling processes, and dramatically improves productivity.
