Description
The A&D SV1A Vibro Viscometer redefines standard viscosity measurement with its advanced vibrating tuning fork technology. Designed for a wide range of Newtonian fluids, it delivers fast, accurate results with simple operation. Whether you’re working with low or high viscosities or limited sample volumes, the SV1A offers unmatched flexibility and versatility.
Its wide measurement range—from 0.3 to 1,000 mPa·s makes it suitable for a broad spectrum of applications. It can measure extremely low viscosities, down to one-third the viscosity of water, and supports small sample sizes with cups as small as 2 mL. Measurements can be taken directly in your chosen containers, including beakers and product packaging, allowing for continuous monitoring and real-time characterization of state changes.
Speed and simplicity are at the heart of the A&D SV1A Vibro Viscometer. You’ll get your first result within 15 seconds, with continuous refresh. With a repeatability of ±1%, precision is guaranteed.
The SV1A measures temperature from 0 to 160°C, with minimal thermal and mechanical impact thanks to its vibration-based method. Optional temperature control via water jacket (AX-SV-37) or other methods ensures optimal sample conditions.
