Description
The SalvisLab VC-20 Vacuum Oven is a compact, benchtop drying oven, designed for processing heat-sensitive products. It is especially useful in applications requiring a dust-free vacuum atmosphere, such as in chemical and electrical engineering.
Temperature can be set from 5°C up to a maximum of 200°C. Fuzzy-Logic temperature ramping technology allows you to gradually increase temperatures, preventing thermal shock and ensuring uniform heating. A large double-glazed window allows full view into the chamber, and prevents heat loss through the glass. The oven has an internal volume of 20 litres and comes with one shelf included, however, up to three can be accommodated. Shelves are made from 5mm aluminium for effective heat conduction, and they can be easily removed for cleaning of the chamber. For safety the door latch is spring loaded, allowing the door to open slightly should an over-pressure anomaly occur.
