Description
The Malvern Zetasizer Nano ZS measures particle size, zeta potential, and molecular size, making it a versatile instrument for particle analysis. The Zetasizer measures particle sizes over a diameter range of 0.3 nm to 10 µm, while zeta potential measurements cover particle sizes from 3.8 nm to 100 µm. The Nano ZS also determines molecular weights over a range of 342 Da to 2×10⁷ Da.
The Zetasizer Nano ZS delivers highly reproducible results, with a repeatability of ±1%, operating across a temperature range of 0°C to 90°C. The Malvern accommodates sample volumes from 12 to 500 µL for particle size measurements, and 1 mL for zeta potential analysis.
The Malvern Zetasizer Nano ZS uses two-angle dynamic light scattering (DLS) with 175° non-invasive backscatter (NIBS) optics, enabling accurate measurements across a wide range of sample types and concentrations. A 532 nm “green” laser provides reliable performance, across both low and high concentration samples. The particle analyser is supplied with the Malvern Zetasizer software, which supports instrument control, data acquisition, and analysis.
