Description
The POL-EKO KKS ICH photostability chamber range provides controlled light, temperature and humidity conditions for testing light-sensitive products. Available in 315 and 923-litre chamber capacities, with working capacities of 215 and 702 litres, the range operates from +10°C to +50°C. Relative humidity can also be controlled between 10% and 90% RH. Furthermore, dedicated visible-light and UVA systems support testing in accordance with ICH Q1B requirements. These include visible-light exposure of at least 1.2 million lux hours and UVA exposure of at least 200 Wh/m². A complete test can be performed in up to 29 hours when using flat samples.
The visible-light system uses 6500 K LEDs with a colour rendering index above 90. Meanwhile, the UVA module uses specialist fluorescent lamps to provide the required ultraviolet exposure. Forced air circulation and uniform shelf illumination help maintain consistent conditions across all samples. In addition, the Smart PRO controller provides programmable test cycles, user management, alarms and detailed data logging. USB, LAN and Wi-Fi connections enable convenient data transfer and remote monitoring through LabDesk software. Optional LabDesk CFR software supports data management in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11. Therefore, the KKS ICH range is ideal for testing pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, active substances and light-sensitive packaging.
