What we broker

We specialise in high-value, technically advanced instruments, including:

Flow cytometers High-end microscopes Sequencers

These systems often need expert handling, targeted marketing and a sales process you can trust. That’s what our brokerage service provides.

How brokerage works

  1. We talk it through. We speak with you to understand your goals and what you expect financially.
  2. We ask about the equipment. What’s its service history, and has it been serviced regularly? How old is it? Is it fully working, and are there any known faults? What price range do you expect, and what timescale do you have for a return?
  3. We agree a timeline. With that information, we agree a timeline with you, from listing and marketing through to payment. Timings vary by item and by what you need.

What it costs

Our terms depend on the product and how complex it is to sell. Commission is typically around 40%, and can rise to 50% for more complex or harder-to-sell items. We’re flexible, especially on high-value items, and open to negotiation.

Tell us about your equipment and we’ll come back to you, or call us on 01257 270 433.

Rather sell it outright?

We buy used lab equipment too, from single instruments to complete laboratories, and collect from anywhere in the UK.

Clearing a whole lab?

If you’re relocating, downsizing or closing a lab, our Lab Clearance Service deals with a single room or a whole facility, start to finish. The value of the equipment can be offset against the cost of the clearance.
