Description
The POL-EKO SLWN Drying Oven with Nitrogen Blow range combines controlled heating with a dry nitrogen purge system. As a result, it is ideal for moisture determination, inert-gas testing and drying materials sensitive to atmospheric oxygen. Five sizes are available, offering working capacities from 15 to 245 litres. Each model operates from 5°C above ambient to +300°C. Forced air circulation promotes uniform heat and nitrogen distribution throughout the chamber helping laboratories achieve consistent and repeatable drying conditions.
For straightforward operation, a microprocessor PID controller and full-colour touchscreen allow users to create time-and-temperature programmes. In addition, built-in alarms, event recording, internal memory and USB or LAN connectivity support effective data management. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel chamber also provides excellent durability and allows easy cleaning. Other features include stainless steel wire shelves, a lockable solid door, an adjustable air flap and an access port for external sensors. Notably, SLWN1 models include a laboratory rotameter (that can be calibrated for a small fee), whereas SLWN2 versions use a technical rotameter. Accredited chamber and rotameter calibration services are also available. Please note that the nitrogen supply bottle is not included.
