Description

The Ohaus FC5816R Centrifuge is a compact, high-speed, refrigerated benchtop model, ideal for labs with limited space. Its wide temperature range and powerful centrifugation make it well suited for applications such as blood processing and cell culture.

Performance wise, the FC5816R operates at temperatures from -20°C to +40°C, allowing labs to handle a broad range of temperature-sensitive samples. It reaches speeds of over 10,000 rpm, depending on the rotor used. The system automatically recognises the rotor, improving user safety and preventing overspeeding. A simple, easy-to-navigate control panel allows users to program speed, temperature, and time, while the bright LCD screen clearly displays all settings.

For added safety, the FC5816R includes imbalance detection, overspeed protection, and a self-diagnostic system. Its chemical-resistant stainless steel construction ensures long-lasting durability under demanding lab conditions.

This model comes with a 30314829 rotor. Please note – the inserts in the supplied rotor are non-removeable.
