Description

The Millipore Elix Essential 10 UV is a compact water purification system that can be situated either under bench or mounted on the wall. Designed to consistently and reliably deliver Type 2 water, this model is capable of producing up to 10 litres of purified water an hour. As a result, it easily meets the daily needs of scientists, researchers and engineers.

In terms of performance, the Elix Essential 10 UV offers low cell constant, temperature compensation at 25°C, and flow-through resistivity cell design. Consequently, water is produced with a resistivity of greater than 5 MΩ·cm at 25°C, and total organic carbon level (TOC) of less than 30 ppb. To maintain this high level of water quality, the unit continuously measures key water parameters using high-precision monitoring equipment. Moreover, the user-friendly system has colour coded action lights and alarms, enabling the user to quickly and clearly see what the problem is. For instance, the Progard icon will turn yellow fifteen days before the purification pack needs to be replaced. In more critical situations, the screen will turn red to indicate an immediate action is required. Furthermore, the integrated electrodeionization technology results in low running costs due to there being no resin packs to change.
