Description
The Leec SL3/RH Environmental Chamber is a high-humidity incubation cabinet. Specifically designed for incubation of wet samples such as plants, the SL3/RH has a sealed and watertight chamber. This makes the SL3/RH especially useful in applications such as plant science, agriculture and entomology.
A generous chamber capacity of 320 litres, and six stainless steel shelves provide ample room for many samples to be stored. Temperature range for the SL3/RH ranges between 0°C – 60°C, allowing for a greater diversity of samples to be incubated. An external reservoir provides water for maintaining high humidity levels in the chamber. For added safety, should there be a temperature anomaly, an alarm will sound and flash, and the heating/cooling mechanism will cut out. Two inner glass doors allow users to view samples while keeping temperature loss to a minimum. This model has lighting capabilities when fitted with the correct bulbs. When using the lighting feature a digital timer controls the day/night cycle. Additionally, two 12 mm cable ports provide access for temperature probes.
