Description
The Chemometec NucleoCounter NC-200 is an automated cell counter used to analyse cells and determine total cell counts. It can count a number of different cells including suspension cells, stem cells and aggregated cells. Cell counters such as this are commonly used for applications such as cell therapy, bioprocessing and vaccine production.
To accurately count cells, the NC-200 detects nuclei and stains the sample with fluorescent nuclear dyes. Live cells are coloured green and dead cells are coloured blue. Dyes are pre-loaded on to the specialised Via2-Cassettes, eliminating user errors caused with manual pipettes. Results can be calculated and reported in as little as 30 – 60 seconds. Markedly, the NC-200 does not need to warm up and requires no calibration.
