The CEM Discover SP-D Microwave Digestion System is an automated, pressurised system for sample preparation. Primarily used to rapidly digest solids, the Discover SP-D employs microwave energy to create a clear solution to be used in analysers such as ICP-MS or AA.
Features of the Discover SP-D include an average digestion time of 10 minutes or less, enabling swift turnaround and the ability to rush samples. Rapid cooling means your sample is safe to touch less than one minute after digestion, allowing the user to handle samples and move them to other analysis machines. Furthermore, Activent Technology actively controls pressure and venting to eliminate the loss of elements such as arsenic and mercury. Externally, the Discover SP-D measures 51 x 34 x 30 cm approximately.
