The Binder KBWF 240 Growth Chamber is a generously sized climate chamber offering the ability to control light, temperature, and humidity, to create perfect growing conditions for your samples. Growth chambers like this support year-round testing, as samples remain unaffected by seasonal variation or extreme weather. These attributes make the KBWF 240 ideal for a range of applications, such as agricultural science, biotech and pharma, and ecology.
Features of the KBWF 240 include a temperature range of 0°C – 70°C (without illumination), 10°C – 60°C (with illumination), and a humidity range of between 10 – 80%. Illumination comes in the form of two moveable cassettes with three different light spectra, each containing five fluorescent tubes. A capacitive heat sensor actively regulates humidity via vapour humidification. To help maintain constant set conditions inside the chamber, the KBWF 240 has a tight-sealing inner door made from safety glass. Furthermore, an intuitive touch screen with LCD display lets you set and view your parameters with ease.
Internally, the KBWF 240 contains two stainless steel shelves, two illumination cassettes, and measures 48.5 x 65 x 78.5 cm. Externally, the chamber has been constructed with powder-coated cold rolled steel and measures 94.5 x 85 x 146.5 cm.
