The Binder CB220 CO₂ incubator delivers reliable cell culture conditions. The incubator maintains temperatures from ambient +7°C up to 60°C, with uniformity of ±0.4°C throughout the interior. The double-pan humidification system supports a humidity range of 90% to 95% RH and offers controlled adjustment between 50% and 95% RH to suit different applications. The CB220 incubator provides accurate CO₂ regulation across a range of 0% to 20%, using a drift-free single-beam infrared CO₂ sensor to ensure long-term stability and accurate readings. A fail-safe automatic CO₂ diagnostic system continuously monitors performance. Furthermore, the oxygen control enables hypoxic conditions for cell culture research. With a generous 210L capacity, six tightly sealed inner glass doors minimise environmental fluctuations during access of different samples.
The Binder CB220 features perforated stainless steel shelves that enable optimal airflow and are easy to clean. An internal data logger with a USB interface allows straightforward recording and transfer of performance data. The CO2 incubator utilises 180°C hot-air sterilisation, for effective decontamination without dismantling components. The fanless design reduces vibration and contamination risks while maintaining consistent environmental conditions. An LCD display provides intuitive control and clear monitoring of parameters, alongside audio and visual alarms.
