Description
The Binder CB 170 CO2 Incubator Stack gives precise control over temperature, humidity and co2 levels, providing a stable atmosphere for the incubation of biological samples. Thanks to the space-saving stack, the system has a generous capacity of 340 litres, while maintaining a compact footprint. Markedly, the CB 170 Stack is divided by a thermally isolated stacking adapter, preventing heat from the lower chamber disrupting the upper. Moreover, the stack reaches only 1.8 metres, allowing access even to the top shelves without the need for a step.
Contamination is controlled through an automated 180°C hot air sterilisation cycle, to thoroughly clean the chambers between cultivations. To prevent moisture build-up on inner surfaces, the incubators have optimised double-pan humidification systems, with condensation protection. Furthermore, to guarantee stable pH levels and uniform gas distribution, the CB 170 features an infrared CO2 sensor. Levels are further controlled with the fanless Venturi gas-mixing nozzle. The intuitive touchscreen controller is easy to use and clearly displays all set parameters. Meanwhile, inner glass doors allow the user to view and monitor samples while protecting chamber temperature. Each incubator comes with one perforated shelf included.
