The POL-EKO CHL ATEX laboratory fridge range provides controlled storage for flammable, volatile and chemical samples that may create an explosive atmosphere. Available in six chamber sizes from 74 to 414 litres, each model operates between 0°C and +15°C. Forced air circulation promotes uniform temperature distribution, while the non-sparking interior reduces potential ignition risks. The chamber complies with the ATEX 2014/34/EU Directive and is classified for Zone 2 gas atmospheres.
A microprocessor PID controller maintains stable conditions and provides straightforward operation through a full-colour touchscreen. Built-in data logging, visual and audible alarms, internal memory and event recording support effective monitoring. LAN and USB connections also allow convenient access to stored data. Additional features include a lockable solid door, stainless steel wire shelves and an open-door alarm. The ATEX certification applies to the refrigerator chamber only; therefore, the exterior must not be installed within an explosive atmosphere. With several capacities available, the CHL ATEX range offers a dependable solution for laboratories storing hazardous solvents, reagents and other temperature-sensitive materials.
