Description
This high-performance particle sizing instrument offers ultra-high resolution analysis, capable of distinguishing narrow peaks with size differences as small as 2%. Its precision enables the detection of subtle changes in particle size, making it particularly valuable for applications requiring detailed characterisation. The system is well-suited for monitoring nanoparticle coating thickness, providing reliable data for advanced materials research and, with a minimum detection limit below 10⁻⁸ grams of active sample, it delivers accurate results even with extremely small sample quantities. Highly poly-dispersed particles can be measured in the size range of ~3.0nm to ~60 microns, at 2 to 10 times better resolution than any other particle sizing instrument.
An in-built display shows real-time operational data, including disc speed, internal temperature, and system balance status. The built-in Dynamic Balancing Module contributes to the instrument’s longevity by maintaining optimal mechanical stability.
The CPS DC24000 UHR Disc Centrifuge supports a dynamic range capability greater than 1000, allowing for the measurement of broad and multimodal particle size distributions. It can analyse particles of virtually any density, making it suitable for a wide variety of sample types. Users also benefit from highly reproducible results and a comprehensive suite of data presentation options, including multiple distribution overlays.
The CPS Disc Centrifuge’s compact dimensions are space-saving – (60.8cm x 53.5cm x 34.5cm), so it can easily integrate into existing laboratory setups and runs at 24,000 RPM.
