Description
The Agilent 1200 Series Evaporative Light Scattering Detector is designed to detect compounds in the eluent from high performance liquid chromatography, micro-HPLC, gel permeation chromatography (GPC) or counter current chromatography (CCC). The 1200 series is a sensitive universal detector that doesn’t have the requirement of functional groups that absorb in wavelengths in the UV-Visible range, therefore providing more flexibility than traditional fixed wavelengths detectors.
The ELSD is easily controlled by the keypad as well as the digital display on the front of the instrument. However, it can also be controlled by an external computer via the RS232 port on the rear.
