Tricky delivery to the Liverpool School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

tricky delivery to liverpool school of hygiene and tropical medicine

We are proud to count Liverpool School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine as a customer. On this occasion, we had to deliver this large 125 litre Astell autoclave from our site in Chorley to Liverpool.

To accomplish this we hired a HIAB, a lorry fitted with a medium sized crane. On unloading, a large hydraulic leg braced the lorry and raised it up before the crane effortlessly lifted and placed the Autoclave in front of the door so we could roll it into place and have it commissioned in its new home.

This autoclave was purchased and refurbished by Richmond Scientific before being sold on to LSTM. This helped stretch the customer’s budget and extended the working life of a very capable and well built machine. Used equipment isn’t just a cheaper option, it’s often a more sustainable decision.

We never cut corners at Richmond and believe strongly in using “the right tool for the job”. This way, equipment and people are safeguarded and what can be a stressful or concerning operation for the purchaser is made simple, safe and easy.

Contact us now if you have something tricky which needs removing, we’d be more than happy to help you. We have a range of experience in the removal and delivery of difficult and hard to move equipment and apparatus.
