The Ohaus Scout SKX222 Balance features a maximum capacity of 220g with a readability of 0.01g and a linearity of ±0.01g. It stabilizes in just 1 second, making it quick and efficient for use. The balance includes a 12cm diameter stainless steel pan and ABS housing, ensuring durability. Along with the weigh-below hook, the SKX222 is suited to many weighing applications.  It also comes as a stackable design for convenient storage. The balance has a range of indicators and auto features to enhance ease of use, including; auto shut-off, auto tare, low battery indicator and stability indicator.

For safety, the balance offers overload and underload protection. Powering the balance requires either 4x AA disposable batteries, lasting up to 120 hours, or an AC adaptor. In terms of connectivity, the balance is compatible with Ethernet, RS232, USB host, USB device, and Bluetooth. The backlit LCD display ensures clear visibility, and the balance can measure units in newtons, grams, and ounces.
