Description
The Purelab Option-R water purification unit from ELGA has been designed to provide a supply of highly purified water. The unit uses four purification technologies, reverse osmosis, adsorption, ion-exchange and photo oxidation. It also incorporates a recirculation pump and an optional RO feed water boost pump. Produces 15 litres per hour of purified water, which is then stored in a treated 40 L water reservoir.
The Option-R features a range of user-focused indicators and alarms designed for effective monitoring and maintenance. It actively displays conductivity and temperature-compensated resistivity, both in degrees Celsius. The system also indicates the reservoir’s percentage full, and remaining life indicators for the pre-treatment cartridge, UV lamp, and ion-exchange cartridge.
Alarms trigger if purified water purity drifts outside the set point, the reservoir reaches a low level, or if there is a disconnection in level control. Additional alerts include UV lamp failure (either from non-start or abnormal current), and reminders to change the pre-treatment cartridge, UV lamp, and ion-exchange cartridge. Key features include a sanitisation port, a dispense tap, a removable cover. There is an audible alarm that users can enable or disable. The system’s graphic screen actively displays operational status and allows control via three function buttons. A UV lamp, securely housed in a stainless steel chamber, comes pre-installed.
