Description

This Varian Prostar 215 is a Solvent Delivery Module, usable in HPLC or other systems. It uses the RS422 input/output channel for interfacing, as well as 3 contact closure relay outputs; 5 contact closure outputs; 1 analog input (-0.5 to +2.5 V) AID converter; 1 programmable analog output (0-10 V).

The display is a backlit LCD – 2 lines with space for 48 characters. The Varian Prostar 215 Solvent Delivery Module has unlimited timed events/program, including composition, flow, and contact closures. It stores 100 method programs, and includes battery protected RAM. Unlimited Method looping and linking.

The ProStar Series from Varian Chromatography Systems consists of a line of HPLC Solvent Delivery Modules, Detectors and AutoSamplers. You can configure them to create complete Analytical, Semiprep or Preparative HPLC systems. You can also purchase this ProStar LC module individually to add to any existing Varian (or other manufacturer’s) system.

All Varian ProStar Series 200 modules have the same footprint and are therefore stackable with other detectors and autosamplers in the ProStar HPLC Series.

The 215 Module has a more powerful motor, larger power supply and can operate at a higher pressure than the ProStar 210.
