Description

The Molecular Devices SpectraMax i3x Microplate Reader is a multi-mode microplate reader, able to measure UV/vis, fluorescence and luminescence. Ideal for a wide range of applications, including Western Blot analysis, this SpectraMax i3x includes the additional MiniMax 3000 Imaging Cytometer module for advanced cell imaging. The unit is operated using the simple touch screen controller, with data recorded and analysed on the included PC.

Features of the Molecular Devices SpectraMax i3x:

  • Includes MiniMax 3000 Imaging Cytometer allowing cell imaging, including StainFree and Spheroid analysis
  • Spectral Fusion Illumination using a Xenon flash lamp and visible range LED wheel for good sensitivity across the whole excitation range
  • Read modes: absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence, time-resolved fluorescence, fluorescence polarisation, HTRF and AlphaScreen
  • Wavelength ranges:
    • Absorbance: 230 – 1000 nm
    • FL Ex: 250 – 8/30 nm
    • FL Em: 270 – 850 nm
    • Lumi: 300 – 850 nm
  • ScanLater Western Blot detection cartridge included
  • Additional cartridges available from Molecular Devices
  • Easy to use touch screen controller
  • Cooled PMT offers reduced background noise and for greater sensitivity
  • Plate shaking: Linear and orbital
