This Mettler Toledo RS-P42 Dot Matrix Printer is for use with the Mettler Toledo Balances with an RS232C Interface.
The RS-P42 allows detailed documentation of results without sacrificing much bench space. It provides printouts of weighing results, regular adjustments as well as, depending on the balance, individual configuration application results. It connects to a balance or analytical instrument via a standard RS232C interface.
The Mettler Toledo RS-P42 Balance Data Printer produces results at a rate of one line per second. This item uses a black ribbon cartridge and ordinary paper rolls. The paper roll is protected by a cover and is 51mm in diameter.
The printout on normal paper fulfills the requirements of modern quality assurance systems (GLP, GMP, ISO 9001, etc.). These define, among other things, the principles and duties for the user of measuring instruments or inspection, measuring and test equipment. The RS-P42 complies with the principle of traceability of measurements by precisely documenting the origin of data, as well as calibration procedures. It fulfils the obligation to archive measurement results by its both thermally stable and lightfast print. On connection to METTLER TOLEDO balances, the RS-P42 prints all data sent by the balance without restriction, that is not only weight values and calibration procedures, but also the results of all applications, built into the balance.
