This LEEC F1 is a drying cabinet with hinged glass double doors.

Originally for drying both Pyrex laboratory glassware and stainless steel surgical instruments, LEEC drying cabinets can be used to dry pretty much anything that you cannot dry in a laboratory oven (lab ovens tend to dry at temperatures higher than +100°C). Drying cabinets can dry at up to a maximum of 50°C above room temperature. You can use this in pharmaceutical / cosmetic manufacturing, food testing industry, automotive and aerospace industries, and electronics (PCB) manufacturing, as well as science labs in schools, colleges and universities.

LEEC drying cabinets are ideal for drying both theatrical wigs and costumes. As a result they are also popular with theatrical production companies and film / TV show producers. In this context they often have the name “wig dryer”. It can hold several head blocks.

This LEEC F1 drying cabinet features rust resistant steel with a white polyester powder coat paint as standard. They also have heatproof toughened glass doors to British Standards. The wire mesh shelves are removable. You can also adjust them for height every 25mm. Heating elements are waterproof and are underneath a perforated floor, which has an unpainted, polished stainless steel finish. Temperature control is by Simmerstat giving any desired temperature up to a maximum of 50°C above ambient temperature.

Three wire mesh shelves (included) are removable and can be adjusted for height every 19mm.
