The Jenway 3540 Combined Meter is ideal for use in all laboratories where pH and conductivity analyses take place. The setup menu gives quick and easy access to the whole range of instrument, pH and conductivity measurement options. Calibration of both channels is automatic, with the option to select 1, 2 or 3 calibration points. The pH channel can also display mV values if required.
The model 3540 pH/conductivity meter is a dual channel, dual readout instrument that displays both pH and conductivity values simultaneously. The Jenway 3540 shows both readings in real time and eliminates cross channel interference, as well as the need to either switch manually or automatically between measurements. The design also enables both dual channel and independent single channel operation. Predictive Selection simplifies operation by taking you directly to the screen relevant to your current task.
There are three calibration methods: automatic recognition of common conductivity calibration standards, semiautomatic calibration against manual input values within the measuring range or, a simple calibration against the cell constant (K factor) for the probe in use. The conductivity channel can also readout in Resistivity, Salinity or TDS values.
- Simultaneous display of pH and conductivity
- 2 independent channels to prevent interference between probes
- Additional modes for resistivity, salinity, TDS and mV
- Data logger with auto save/print options
- Storage of up to 500 readings (250 for each mode)
- Backlit LCD Digital Display
The Jenway 3540 includes both data logging and alarm functions. You can store results to the internal memory or output via the RS232 serial port to a printer or computer. This storage or output function can be triggered manually by pressing the Store key, or be set on a timed basis. It can also be triggered when a sample reading reaches stability, or on the activation and reset of any alarm level.
