Description
The Gerhardt STL56 is ideally suited for drying of laboratory glassware. A sturdy, classic laboratory heater in tried and tested C. Gerhardt quality, the STL56 is best used as a compact individual heater or space-saving serial heating unit. For reliable and lasting intensive heating of laboratory glassware with a flat or rounded base, the STL56 is an excellent tool to have in the lab.
The dryer blows warm air up tubular supports for rapid drying of laboratory glassware. 56 white plastic-coated lateral drying tubes (24, 16 mm diam. 32 tubes, 11 mm diam.) on rotating central column. The electric heater and fan blows filtered hot or cold air up column and out of tube. Maximum temperature in glass vessel on dryer is approximately 50 °C. The heater top has a raised lip to act as condensation/drip tray with a drain pipe at rear. The front panel has power and heating indicator lamps, a power switch, a toggle switch for hot or cold air, and a timer.
