Description
The NanoBrook 173 Plus is ideal for characterisation of proteins, antibodies, nanoparticles, macromolecular assemblies and other small size particles. The instrument uses backscattering detection to measure the size of proteins/particles by building the correlation function. The backscattering angle allows for a larger scattering volume, leading to faster measurement of particle sizes. Accuracy optimised for molecules and particles less than a few tens of nanometres.
The NanoBrook features 3 possible scattering angles : Measurements of colloids traditionally made using a 90° scattering angle, for smaller nanoparticles and proteins < 50 nm the 173° angle can be used , and the 15° detection angle can be selected for added sensitivity with aggregation measurements.
