Ohaus Centrifuges
Centrifugation is the use of centrifugal force to separate the contents of a mixture according to size, density or viscosity. Centrifuges are used extensively across a wide range of applications including food, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, waste water treatment, mining, biotech and more. There are a wide selection of laboratory centrifuges on the market to suit the requirements of the user. Choose between benchtop or freestanding centrifuges depending on the size of your samples and the centrifugal force required. Many centrifuges can be refrigerated or temperature controlled to maintain a suitable environment for samples during centrifugation. Your choice of rotor will depend on whether you need fixed angle or swing out configuration, your required speed, and the size of your samples.
